Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Therapy

Deep Tissue and Trigger Point

Deep Tissue Therapy works deeply into the muscles and connective tissue to release chronic aches and pains.*

Trigger Point Therapy massage utilizes ischemic compression of individual areas of hypersensitivity in muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia. These trigger points are defined by their referral of pain to distant locations in muscles, connective tissues, and organs.*

Swedish Massage

Swedish and Myofascial Release

Swedish Massage is a system of manipulations on the muscles and connective tissues of the body for the purpose of relaxation, rehabilitation, or health maintenance. It is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.*

Myofascial Release is a gentle, sliding pressure applied in the direction of the restriction to stretch the tissues. The stretching of tissues and the heat produced by the practitioner's hands are thought to help produce a softer consistency of fascial tissues.*

Sports Massage and Stretching

Sports Massage and Stretching

Sports massage is applied to athletes to help them train and perform free of pain and injuries. A blend of Swedish strokes, compression, pressure-point therapy, cross-fiber friction, and joint mobilization to ensure peak performance of high-level performers and fitness enthusiasts.*

Stretching improves range of motion, reduces tension placed on joints, and promotes flexibility.

Postpartum massage can take place immediately following the birth of your child. Massage can reduce fascial restrictions/adhesions due to poor posture while holding/feeding your child, abnormal sleep habits, and the normal stresses placed on the body following a pregnancy.
